CBMI signed an EPC contract for a Modular and Mobile Grinding plant （MMG）in Guinea, which was signed by LafargeHolcim on November 26th, 2018 and then sent out through courier to CBMI. The contract is officially launched on 4th Dec.2018.
This Modular and Mobile grinding plant is invested by LafargeHolcim Ciments de Guinee (CdG), a subsidiary company of LH. This company that was established 80s last century is the biggest cement producer in Guinea and occupies 70% of the cement market in Guinea. Seeing that the demand increased annually, CdG decided to invest for expansion of a cement grinding system.
The project is located at Dubréka town, north side of Conakry capital of Guinea, and it is about 80km distance from Conakry Port.
LH called the biding through open tender. After several rounds of strict bidding and evaluation through nearly one year time, finally CBMI won the bidding with the advantages of technical solutions, performance guarantees, contract period and price ect.
It is the first Modular & Mobile Grinding plant project officially signed by CBMI, especially with cooperation with LafargeHolcim Group, it clearly proves that CBMI’s independent R&D for modular & mobile concept of cement grinding plant is recognized by high-end customers. It is expecting that, by the commencement and implementation of this project, the utilization of Modular & Mobile Grinding Technology can be pushed forward, and at the same time of improving technology, potential projects and customers can be discovered. Moreover, we will continue research new operation pattern for Modular & Mobile Grinding plant so that it can become a new profit growth point for CBMI.
