CBMI Malaysia Branch Won a Bid for a Sludge Tank of the Sewage Plant in Ipoh

October 29th, 2018, CBMI Malaysia Branch Company, after several rounds of biddings, received the letter of acceptance issued by the general contractor and won a bid of CS2 civil package for balance, dioxidation and aeration tank project for the sewage plant, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. This project has main works for concrete of a volume of 30,000 cubic meters with a contract period of 12months.

 

The sewage plant project has total Ringgit 600million invested by Ipoh municipal, Perak, Malaysia, with capacity of sewage treatment for a population of 1.5million, the general contractor is a cooperated body between Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BEWG) from China and the local company OYAL ENGINEERING SDN BHD.

 

With great effort from the Business Development department of the Company, through proper organizations and good bidding activities in a period of 4months, the Malaysia Branch Company defeated 26 competitors after 4 rounds of biddings and finally won the CS2 civil package.

 

Ipoh sewage plant project CS2 civil package is the one of projects after steel mill, power plant, chemical plant that the Company won in Malaysia, and made another success development in sewage treatment industry.

 

The won of the bid for Ipoh sewage plant project CS2 civil package is also a pro-active implement for the Company’s Localization operation strategy; it is the first order when CBMI established the Malaysia Branch Company.
